Ronald George Morley passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the Northside General Hospital at the age of 72.
He is survived by his daughter, Kim, North Sydney; two brothers, James, Ontario, Ken Ontario and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Glenda (Long) and sister, Honey (Coleman).
Ronnie was well known in North Sydney for his years of work at the North Sydney Ship Yard and North Sydney Forum. Many people in town have known him since childhood from skating at the forum.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter Kim and many friends and family.
Visitation for Ronnie will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4, 2015 at the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2015, from Calvary Baptist Church North Sydney, with Rev. John Hannem officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery.
