1932 - 2015
It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Hélene M. Babineau, on Wednesday August 26, 2015, following a lengthy illness at the age of 83, wife of the late Laurie Babineau, of Irishtown. She was born on April 16, 1932 in Notre-Dame, daughter of the late Sylvain and Alida (McCaie) LeBlanc.
She will be sadly missed by her three loving children: Yolande (Clifford) Fougere of Cocagne, Claudette (Victor) Arsenault of Irishtown and Jean-Bernard (Robin) Babineau of Springfield, Mass.; six loving grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; four sisters: Sr Rose-Anna, Bertha, Edna and Fernande; two brothers: Alyre and Raymond, and many nieces and nephews.
Beside her husband, she is predeceased by her two children: Fernande (Aubrey) Collette and Edgar, five brothers: Leo, Gerard, Alphee, Adelard and Edgar.
The family wishes to express their profound gratitude to Dr. Rolande Colas and Dr. Pam Mansfield, the Extra Mural staff, the Palliative Care and a special thanks to Sherry for your compassion and love towards Maw, as well as many other health care professionals who helped her during her lengthy illness.
Visitation will be held at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Lawrence O’Toole Roman Catholic Church, 2340 Route 115, Irishtown, on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 11 am.
