LaHaye, Christine E. - 74 of Dartmouth passed away at home Thursday September 3, 2015 surrounded by her loving family after a difficult battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Faye M. Truckair, Liverpool, NS. She was a woman of great strength and integrity. Surviving are her five children; Lawrence (Anne), Michel, Yvonne (Paul), Gina (Doug), Pierre (Kim); five grandchildren, Marc, Robbie, Matthew, Danielle and Paige; step grandchildren, Jennifer and Trish Andrea, and her faithful old cat, Midnight. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and neighbors. Heaven just became a little more interesting. Our deepest thanks and appreciation to the Palliative Care Home Support Team, and all those who assisted in her care these last few weeks. Visitation will take place on Monday September 7, from 2-4pm & 6-8pm in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street. Funeral mass will be held 12 noon Tuesday September 8, 2015 in St. Peters Roman Catholic Church Maple St. Dartmouth. Father Jim Richards Celebrant.
