LEBLANC, Mary Lena – Age 99, of Vancouver Place, Yarmouth, passed away on September 22, 2015, in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born May 24, 1916 in Wedgeport, she was a daughter of the late Rudolph and Irene (LeBlanc) LeBlanc. Mary was a housekeeper at the Lord Nelson Hotel, Halifax. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Noella (Gary) Allen, Yarmouth; Marie Pothier, Montreal; Daniel (Marilyn) LeBlanc and Pamela (Billy) Cottreau, Wedgeport; Kevin LeBlanc, Wedgeport; and Michael (Madeline) Pothier, Dartmouth; several grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Regina Pothier, Agnes LeBlanc, Francis LeBlanc and Martin LeBlanc. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Wedgeport, where visitation was from from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, September 24 with prayers at 8 p.m. in the funeral home in Wedgeport. A funeral mass was held Friday at 11 a.m. in Saint Michael’s Catholic Church, Wedgeport, Father Albeni d’Entremont officiated. An interment was held in the parish cemetery following the service.
