ROSS, Rachel Kathleen, 67, Woods Harbour, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015, at the Roseway Hospital, Shelburne. Born August 19, 1948 she was the daughter of the late St. Clair and Iona (Stoddard) Nickerson. She is survived by her husband, Carson Ross; son, Alan Ross; brother, Wilfred; sisters, Eunice, Enid, Velma; beloved grandchildren, Sarah Anne Ross, Gabrielle Ross, Tyler Ross, Ryan Ross; beloved great-grandchildren, Amber, Kye, Damon, Dallen, Mi’Kayla; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents. There will be a visitation, 7-9 p.m. on Thursday at the H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday October 10 at the Woods Harbour Wesleyan Church with Rev. Alvin McComiskey officiating. Interment to follow in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Upper Woods Harbour. Memorial donations may be made to the Rosalin Nickerson Care Fund.
