Surrounded with love, respect and admiration, the family of Sidney William Butler, announces his peaceful passing at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on October 6, 2015. Married to Norma (Carter) for 60 years, his life is celebrated by their children: Gary (Carolyn), Dawn, Cathie (John) and David (Janice); 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; sisters Trudy Green and Ruth Magill; sister-in-law Ann McLean and brother-in-law Alan Carter. Also fondly remembered by a large circle of friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Sunday, October 11, 2015, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held from The Carnell Memorial Chapel on Monday, October 12, 2015, at 2pm.
