ROSS, Flora Mae – 86, Roseway Manor, Sandy Point formerly of Thomasville passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Roseway Manor. Born in Clyde River on January 8, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Aileen (Stoddard) Dash. She was a member of the Port Clyde Rebecca Lodge, treasurer of the Clyde-Carleton United Church and member of the United Church Ladies Aid. She is survived by sons, William (Linda), Port Saxon, Walter (Barbara), Clyde River, Keith (Kristina), Clyde River, Kenneth (Donna), Cape Negro, Richard, Halifax; grandchildren, Crystal, Jeremy, Laurie, Tammy, Jason, Amber, Afton, Barrett, Alisha; 9 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth; brothers, Russell, Earl, Karl, Archibald; sisters, Muriel Doane, Eileen Matheson. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. Memorial Service was held on Tuesday, November 10 from the H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, Pastor Jeff Peters officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Nova Scotia.
