Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Morrison) Campbell.
Connie was predeceased by her brother Roy.
Connie is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Joseph 'Joe'; daughters, Darlene (Al) Soulsby, Tantallon, N.S., Brenda (Glenn) MacKay, Fall River, N.S. and son, Darryl (Jen), New York, N.Y. Connie enjoyed sports, playing hockey, curling in her early years and later picked up golf. She was an avid and loyal Toronto Maple Leaf fan and loved cheering on Team Canada. Reading the newspaper was one of her favourite activities and she extended that joy by clipping out articles from the Cape Breton Post and Toronto Globe and Mail and sending them to everyone in her family. Connie became adept at the computer and the internet, which enabled her to keep in touch and reach out to her loved ones. She will be sadly missed by all those who know her.
