Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre, November 25th, 2015, Karen Brocklehurst, (nee Knight), age 52, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Charlie and Alice Knight, and father-in-law Jack Brocklehurst. Leaving to mourn are her husband Fred; son Adam (Natasha); daughter Ashley; step-children Freddie (Penny), and Gina; Also the joys of her life her grandchildren, Lucas, Tristan, Daisy and Gabriella; sisters Debbie White, June (Gerard) McGuire, Suzzanne (Frank) Allured; brother Charlie (Margaret-Anne) Knight; mother-in-law Helen; sisters-in-law Barb, Anna, Paula, Tina, Jacqui; brothers-in-law Peter, Johnny, Brock, Todd, and Robert; special friends Sean, Susan and Danika O'Brien. Karen will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thank you to the Nursing Staff of 4NA, Pam and Agnes for their unwavering support and care of Karen during her brief stay there. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, Freshwater Rd, Thursday from 5-9 pm, and Friday from 10-9 pm. Mass will be held on Saturday, November 28th at St. Theresa's Parish at 11 am. A burial will take place at a later date. Flowers will be gratefully accepted, or donations can be made to the MS Society.
