Peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 of Mrs. Eileen M. Ross (nee Ahearn) of Fredericton, in her 91st year.
Beloved wife of the late Herbert L. Ross and dear mother of Carrie (Gerald) Ross, Summerside, John (Elva) Ahearn, Hamilton, ON, Danny (Catherine) Ross, Emerald and Gary (Cindy) Ross, Emerald. She is also survived by stepsons Gerald (Carrie) Ross, Summerside and James (Marion) Ross, Charlottetown; stepdaughter, Thelma (Junior) Chappell, Summerside; sisters, Helen Lowther, Borden-Carlton and Ada Kilbride, Summerside; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Hugh and Martha (nee Hateley) Ahearn; sons, Charlie, Michael and Russell Ross; sister, Annie Deegan; and her brother, Russell Ahearn.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home. Please note change in time of visiting hours and funeral service due to inclement weather. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. Interment later in Fredericton Cemetery. Visiting hours on Saturday 2-4 p.m. Branch #9 of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold a Veteran's Tribute Service at the funeral home on Saturday at 1:45 p.m.
