It is with great sadness, that we announce the sudden passing of Craig MacIsaac, age 30 on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016 in Edmonton, Alta.
Born in New Waterford, Craig was the son of Wesley and Sandra (MacPherson) MacIsaac.
Craig graduated from BEC in 2003. He pursued a career in pipefitting and welding; which led him to Western Canada for employment. He enjoyed working on cars and driving motorcycles, on and off road. But mostly, Craig will be remembered as a very compassionate man who was very loyal to his family and friends.
Besides his parents, Craig is survived by the love of his life, his fiancée, Amber Beaton, one brother, Brandon (Gail), his niece, Jessi and nephew, Trace, whom he truly adored.
Craig will be sadly missed by his loyal buddies, 'The New Waterford Boys', his maternal grandmother, whom he respected and loved dearly, Jackie MacPherson, paternal grandfather, John MacIsaac, his fiancée’s grandmother, who was also a dear friend, Louise Beaton, aunts, uncles, cousins and his two little buddies, his dogs, Dexter and Jack.
Craig was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Ruth MacIsaac and his maternal grandfather, John MacPherson.
There will be a visitation held at V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith St., New Waterford on Thursday from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Leonard’s Church on Friday at 10 a.m. with Fr. Ray Huntley officiating. Cremation to follow after the funeral mass.
