It is with great sadness that our family announce the peaceful passing of our loving Mother in her 94th year, surrounded by family at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home on Wednesday, May 4, 2016. She was born in Heart's Content and was the last of a family of seven daughters and 3 sons. Predeceased by her husband Frank Luscombe (1959), her daughter Ruth Luscombe Walsh (1994) and long-time companion Ralph Hounsell (1994). She will be lovingly missed by her sons. Larry (Nancy), Wayne (Pauline) both of Corner Brook and Brian (Teresa) Ailsa Craig, ON, 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. At her request a private family inurnment service will take place at Mt. Patricia Cemetery at a later date. The family wishes to thank the staff of Mountain View Retirement Centre, Bungalow's 1 and 4 and Corner Brook Long Term Care Home for their compassionate and loving care of our dear mother.
