Knickle, Sandra Mae- 56, Woodlawn Drive, passed away peacefully in Yarmouth Regional Hospital on Friday, May 20, 2016 with her loving family by her side. Born in Sandy Point, she was a daughter of Georgie and the late Harry Brown. Sandra was a loving wife and mother. Her love for her family was absolute and even though she has gone, she still loves them all. To her husband Michael, she was precious, unique, adorable, loving, and was always there for him and her children. Sandra’s house was always neat and spotless; when you came through the door you knew to remove your shoes. She loved her garden, flowers and the ocean. At home, during her time of illness, she enjoyed her new dream kitchen. She was an amazing cook. Sandra truly loved her family and wonderfully kind-hearted friends. She was a nurse her entire working life. She enjoyed helping those in need. In her role as a nurse, she was an inspiration to her colleagues and as one friend so aptly put it, “she gave above and beyond”. Sandra is survived by her husband of 36 years, Michael; son, Andrew (Kayla); daughter, Charlene (Tim); brothers, Paul and Doug; sister, Holly; step-granddaughter, Haley as well as several nieces and nephews. Ed Trevors officiated. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Christ Church, Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice. The family would like to thank all the Doctors and nurses at Roseway, Yarmouth and QE11 Hospitals who had the lifetime experience of getting to know Sandra and helping to care for her throughout her cancer journey.
