Helen passed away peacefully at the Saskatoon Convalescent Home the evening of May 4, 2016. Helen is survived by: one sister, Marie Smith of Moose Jaw; two daughters, Leona Malinowski (Dick) of Saskatoon, Wanda Coates (Harvey) of Saskatoon; one son, Clifford Kerr (Laurie) of Victoria, BC; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Helen was predeceased by: parents, Ernest and Nellie Osman; husband Joseph Kerr and one grandchild Steven Coates. Helen was born in the Eastleigh District of Saskatchewan. She married Joseph Kerr in 1938 and the couple lived in Mortlach where they raised their three children and became valued members of the community matched only by the number of friends they made along the way. Helen and Joe moved to Moose Jaw in 2000 where both lead active lifestyles until Joseph’s passing in 2002. Helen continued living in Moose Jaw and building relationships until moving to Saskatoon in 2009. A celebration of Helen’s life will be held at W. J. Jones & Son Chapel, 106 Athabasca Street East, Moose Jaw, on Saturday June 4, 2016 at 1:30 pm. Della Ferguson will officiate. Private Family Interment will take place at the Mortlach Cemetery. Donations of a kind smile, a hug or helping hand can be made to anyone in Helen’s memory as they travel the roads of life. In living memory of Helen, a memorial planting will be made by W. J.
