Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on June 22, 2016, Stephen Joseph Francis Dalton born on June 19, 1936. Member of UA Local 740, K of C Terra Nova Council 1452 Archbishop Howley Assembly 0623. Predeased by parents Stephen and Josephine Dalton, three grandchildren Gerard, Jolene and Nicole, two sisters Molly and Margaret (Walt Walsh), two brothers John and Peter, in-laws John and Gladys Leslie, sisters-in-law Gerti, Leslie and Betty (Jim) O'Donnell, brothers-in-law Jack and Bobby Leslie, John Rogers. Leaving to mourn his wife of 58 years Violet (nee Leslie), four daughters Gladys Dalton (Wayne) Josephine Dalton, Violet Locke (Barry), Paula Martin (Harold), four sons Peter (Juanita), Stephen (Carol), Grant, Jason (Jennifer), 16 grandchildren Serena, Heidi and Alisha, Christopher and Michael, Michael and Kimberly, Stephen, Jonathan, Kateri and Grant, Stephen and Marina, Matthew, Erin and their mother Karen, Avery, three great-grandchildren Adrian, Gabriel, Willow-Grace, sister Felicita Rogers, sisters-in-law Diane and Gladys Leslie, brothers-in-law Bill and Gladys Leslie and Ernie and Gail Leslie,as well as a number of nieces and nephews, special friends John Jackson and family, Gerald Burton and family, Gordie Lake and family, George Leaman and family and a large circle of friends. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Resting at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Friday, June 24 from 4-9 pm, Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26 from 2-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick's R. C. Church, Witless Bay on Monday, June 27 at 10 am with Interment to follow at Holy Cross R. C. Cemetery, Witless Bay.
