Lorena found joy in her family, took pride in each and every one of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was known by many names: Rene, mom, nan, big nan and old nanny, and responded to each of these with a heartfelt smile. Her family will cherish the memories of her carefree attitude, jovial laughter, and caring soul. In keeping with Lorena's wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 2 p.m. from the Country Haven Funeral Chapel, with Reverend Paulette Bugden officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
