Gone to be with her Lord and Saviour. Margaret Edith Martin passed on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook in her 84th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Louise (Ivan) Urek, Burlington, Ont.; grandchildren: Lisa, Kim (Craig), Nicole (Marco), AnnMarie (Brad); seven great-grandchildren; special brother and sister-in-law: Ronald and Pansy Delaney, Corner Brook; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Roy Martin, 1972; parents Harry and Clara Delaney; sister Mabel Dover; and brother Archibald Delaney. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Friday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 2 p.m. from The Salvation Army Temple, O'Connell Drive with Captains Cory and Pamela Pinksen officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to The Salvation Army Temple.
