It is with heavy hearts that the family of Meaghan Ann Collier announce her passing on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL at the age of 27 years. She will forever be a delicate flower to all those who knew and loved her. Meaghan will be dearly missed by her mother Kim Collier; stepfather Kevin McCarthy; brothers: Tristan Collier, Kavanaugh McCarthy; sister Katrina Collier; nephews: Randy, Connor, Grayson, Kayden; grandmothers: Nanny Collier, Nanny King; special friends: Cheryl Perrier, Kayla Benoit; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends. She was predeceased by Daddy Randy, Poppy Jim, Poppy King, Nanny Ralph, Nanny Mick and Uncle Rod. Her smile, her hugs, her kisses were freely given to all she met. A beautiful soul and shining light who couragiously fought every challenge set before her. Her mom is so thankful that she was able to give Meaghan her first kiss as she entered this world and her last kiss as she went home to be with the Lord. Her memory will be enshrined in the hearts of everyone privileged to know her. Visitation will take place on Friday, July 22nd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, July 23rd from 10-11:30 a.m. at Fillatre's Funeral Home in Stephenville Crossing, NL. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 2 p.m. from St. Augustine's Anglican Church, Hillview Ave., Stephenville with Rev. Canon Terry Rose officiating. Interment will take place following the service in the Anglican Cemetery, Stephenville Crossing. As expressions of sympathy. flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website at www.fillatre.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
