Suddenly at Charlottetown, on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, of Richard Steven “Ricky” Gallant, formerly of Tignish, age 58 years. Born on July 6, 1958, in Toronto. He was the son of Theresa (nee Martin LeClair) and the late Willie Gallant, and stepson of the late Leo Martin. Dear brother of Bonnie (Kenneth) Gaudet of St. Felix, and uncle to Willie and Benji Gaudet. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visitation Thursday, 7 to 9 p.m., for family and close friends. Funeral Friday from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place in the church cemetery.
