LESLIE RAYMOND WELLS
May 9, 1941 ~ August 20, 2016


It is with great sadness that the family of the late LESLIE WELLS of St. Lawrence announces his passing at his home in St. Lawrence on Saturday, August 20th, 2016, at the age of 75. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons, Leslie Wells (Diane) and Darryl Wells of Glace Bay, NS; daughters, Deanne (Greg Maclean), Tammy (Darren) and Barbara of Glace Bay, NS; sister, Rosalind (Elmer) of Kingston, ON; 6 grandchildren: Jonathon, Chelsey, Nicholas, Cole, Brendan & Kailey; mother-in-law, Eileen Kelly and extended Kelly Family; special sister-in-law and caregiver, Aggie Slaney; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by parents, Raymond & Harriet Wells; son, Raymond Wells; father-in-law, Robert Kelly; brother-in-law, Gordon Kelly.

The Funeral Mass took place on Wednesday, August 24th, at 11:00 a.m. Interment followed at Mount Cecilia Roman Catholic Cemetery in St. Lawrence. In Leslie’s memory donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one’s choice. Flowers gratefully accepted.
