It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Anne Burton announce her sudden passing on September 26, 2016 at the age of 70 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Jason (Angie), grandson Cameron Pike and beloved family pet Kimmy; sisters Elizabeth Seaward, Judy Collins (Bob), Cindy Sooley (Brian), Rhonda Walsh (Clint); brother John (Jack) Crane (Diane); sisters and brothers-in-law: Marjorie Brake (Wilbur), Barbara Billard (Clarence), Bill Burton (Nora), Lorne Burton (Betty), Marie Baldwin (Charles), Norma Barsi (Wayne), Gary Burton (Myrtle), as well as numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. She was predeceased by her husband Edward Wilfred Burton, April 22, 2014, parents William and Jean Crane, mother and father-in-law Hannah and Wilfred Burton and sister-in-law Stella Crane. The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 2:00 pm from Memorial United Church, Curling Street with Reverend Wendy Lowden officiating, followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home 4 St. Marks Avenue Thursday from 7-9 pm and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
