Marjorie Loretta Wallce

Marjorie L. Wallace, 94, of Summerside, and formerly of, Moncton, NB, passed away peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Thursday, September 29, 2016. Born in Great Salmon River, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Sadie (Armstrong) Daly. Marjorie was a retired school teacher, having taught at Queen Elizabeth School for 28 years. She was a member of St. Philips Anglican Church, Moncton, St. Philips Anglican Church ACW, the Moncton Retired Teachers Association, New Brunswick Society of Retired Teachers and was a volunteer for several years at The Moncton Hospital. Marjorie will be sadly missed by her daughter, Beth Ramsay (Ken) of Kensington, PE; grandchildren, Mary Ramsay-Irving (Bryan), Margaret Ramsay-Jung (Tony) and Jim Ramsay (Amanda Whidden); sister, Mary Jenkins (late Don) of Sussex; sister-in-law, Pauline Hocking, as well as five nieces and two nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert Milton Wallace (September 2010). A Service to celebrate and honor Marjorie’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (506-858-1995) on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 11 am, with The Reverend Kevin Borthwick officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment will be held in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. In memory of Marjorie, donations to St. Philip’s Anglican Church, the Canadian Cancer Society or a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
