Louise Mary  LeBlanc

The death of Louise Mary LeBlanc age 100 of Amherst NS occurred at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan on Monday, October 17, 2016 with her family by her side.
Born in Barronsfield, NS she was the daughter of the late Philip and Mary (White) Burbine.
In her earlier years Louise worked as a seamstress at Christie Trunk and Bag in Amherst and in her later years worked in the Housekeeping Department at Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst.
Louise was a member of Holy Family Parish and a long-time member of the CWL.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Left with precious memories and thankful for her life is her daughter Germaine (Roger) Perry, one granddaughter Lisa (Kurt) Fawthrop, two great grandchildren Daphne and Adrian all of Amherst. Aunt of many nieces and nephews who also held a special place in her heart.
Besides her parents, Louise was predeceased by her husband Clarence (1994), one daughter Carol (2015) and brothers Elmer, Wilfred, Leo and Stanley and sisters Ella DesBarres, Martha Burbine, Theresa Doucette and Mabel Burbine.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 8:30 p.m. all in Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst. (902-667-9906).
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. from Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Amherst with Father Keith Billard officiating.
Interment will take place in the St. Charles Nativity, Amherst.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
