Margaret P. "Peggy" (Curran) Miller

Miller, Margaret P. (Curran) “Peggy”, 82, Londonderry, NS, and formerly of Holliston, MA. passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at home, surrounded by her family. Born in Boston, Mass, she was a daughter of the late Timothy Patrick and Mary (Manion) Curran. Peggy lived her life taking care of her family and her home. She later immigrated to Canada with her husband Walter in 2013.
She is survived by her husband of 59-years J. Walter Miller, currently residing at Willow Lodge, Tatamagouche; children and spouses, James (Renee) Miller, Alton Bay, NH, Kevin (Sue) Miller Leominister, Mass, Peggy (Dan) Mattix Londonderry, Stephen (Pep) Miller Riverside, OH, Scott (Savitri) Ramgoolam, Framingham, Mass; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren siblings Mary McLellan, Randolph Mass, Jack (Pauly) Curran, Melrose, Mass, Maury (Mary) Curran, Marshfield, Mass, Helena Griffin, Randolph, Mass, Theresa Schneider, Scituate Mass; sister-in-law Kay Curran, Dedham, Mass; many nieces and nephews, and her lifelong friend Grace Mucci, Scituate Mass.
She was predeceased by her brother Timothy Patrick; brother-in-law Malcolm McLellan; nephew Mark Curran; granddaughter Callie Miller.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. No visitation by family request. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, Oct. 22nd at 10 am in St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Londonderry with Father Dariusz Miskowicz officiating. A reception will follow in the Londonderry Community Hall, Londonderry. Burial will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury, Mass on October 29th. Donations in Peggy’s memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of CEHHC, Truro, or to the Victoria order of Nurses.
