Bernard Jerome Jones born July 28, 1942, passed away after a long illness in Sydney N.S. on October 22, 2016. Bernard leaves behind his very good friend, Leanne Tucker of Sydney; his children, Kristen, Hagstrom and Jeffrey Jones and a granddaughter, Marissa, of Massachusetts.
He also leaves his sisters, Sheila Merchant of Oregon, Beverlee Schmidt of Massachusetts and Gwen Campbell of Massachusetts and a brother, Gregory Jones of Maine. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Helen Jones, formerly of New Waterford. Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, New Waterford.
