December 22, 1932 – November 26, 2016

Marion passed away at Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at the age of 83. She is survived by her children Kenneth Earl (Murielle) Warbis, Phyllis Virgin; her grandchildren Lindsay and Travis Virgin; her brothers Kenneth (Marina) Lyons, and James (Francine) Lyons; her brother-in-law Vernor Scheu; her sister-in-law Dorothy Beaulieu; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Frank Warbis; daughter Laurie; son-in-law Ron Virgin; father Ernest McNabb; mother Annie Lyons; step-father Edward Lyons; sister Margaret Scheu; brother and sister-in-law Steve and Mary Bland; brother and sister-in-law John and Erva Warbis; brother-in-law Cliff Warbis and brother-in-law Victor Beaulieu. After her children were grown, Marion trained and spent 15 years as a long-term special care aide at Mont St. Joseph’s Home. Here she found fulfillment while caring for seniors. Upon retirement, she and Frank moved to Christopher Lake, SK, where they spent 15 happy years living their retirement dream. Her faith and involvement in the Anglican Church were the foundation for how she lived her life. Marion was not afraid to stand up for what she believed and was devoted to her immediate and extended family. Our thanks to the Golden Hill staff at the Herb Bassett Home who became a big part of Marion’s life over the past 2 years. Their love and compassionate caregiving allowed Mom to live her life with dignity. A celebration of Marion’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 - 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Archdeacon Andrew Hoskin officiating.
