Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, May 22nd, 2013. Marie Walsh, aged 86 years. Predeceased by her husband Cyril in 1996; brother Paddy and sisters: Veronica, Rita, Madeline, Aunt Clara and Uncle Bill Mulcahy. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories are her children: Gayle (Bill Ackerman) Calgary, AB, Cyril (Christine) Appleton, Wisconsin, Joanne, Michael and Michelle Marie (Dave Cook). Grandchildren: Nicole Cahoon, Tara Lynn and Eric Kearsey, Jeffrey and Ashley Rose, Jonathan, Rebecca and Marissa Walsh and Julianne McGuire-Walsh. Great-Grandchildren: Daelyn, Breanna, Cassandra and Isabelle .Sisters: Margaret Kearsey (Charles), Cathy Breen (Robert); and brother Kevin Gearin (Mary). Also a large number of relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Thursday from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday from 11 a. m. - 9 p. m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 12 noon from Mary Queen of the World Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
