Alice Pearl MacLeod, 97, of Kimberly Hall, Harbourstone Enhanced Care Facility and formerly of 1020 George St., Sydney, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at the residence.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late John M. and M. Louise (Poirier) Bagnell.
She was a lifetime member of Christ Church, Sydney, and was active in her church and community.
She was the youngest and last surviving member of the Bagnell family. Her gentle smile and friendly face will always live on in the memory of her family.
Survived by daughter, H. Louise ‘Bunny’ MacLeod, Edmonton, Alta.; grandsons, Kevin (Kelly) Mickey, Hay Lakes, Alta., and Darrin (Tracy) Mickey, Edmonton, Alta.; great-granddaughter, Nicole Fuller, Edmonton, Alta.
Predeceased by her husband, James Fraser MacLeod, brothers, Percy, Sidney, Arthur, Reginald, Louis, John and Ernest, sisters, May and Celeste.
There will be no visitation for the late Alice MacLeod. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 21 at Church of Christ the King, Sydney, Rev. Laura McCue officiating. Interment in Alfred E. Smith Cemetery.
