The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, July 25, 2014, of Edmund Doyle, of Sherbrooke, aged 79 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of the late Clarence and Verna (Rayner) Doyle. Survived by his loving wife Sadie (Chappell) Doyle; children Janet (David) Pineau, Judy (Randy) Waugh, Peggy Doyle and Edmund Jr. (Carol) Doyle; daughter-in-law Debbie Doyle-Chowen (Stacy Chowen); grandchildren Christopher and Ryan Pineau; Travis and Colton Waugh; Doyle and Angelina MacLellan; Alyson, Jenna, Patrick, Andrew and Chelsie Doyle; brother Ellsbury Doyle; sister-in-law Frances Doyle; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Steven Doyle; grandson Morgan Paynter; brother Aubrey Doyle; and by sister Lillian (Ron) Smith. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Tuesday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside.
