The death occurred at his home, with family at his side, on Thursday, August 28, 2014, of Eddie Pineau, husband of the late Patricia (nee Gallant), of North Rustico, age 77.
Eddie was the loving, caring, devoted father of Kathy Gauthier (Blythe), Sally Doiron (Robbie), Joanne Buote (Kelly), Darcy (Judy), Johnny, Darren (Peggy) and Jason (Colby Leigh); grandfather of Natasha, Jordan, Coady, Mason, Morgan, Jamie, Taylor, Brad, Shelby, Marley, Julie, Lucas, Katie, Hailey, Jacob, Tyler, Ryan and Tristan; and great-grandfather of Kennedy, Zac, Gracie, Ryan, Olivia, Jax, Grady and Annabelle. Eddie is also survived by his brother, Carl (Bonita); sister, Patsy Gallant (Doug, deceased); brother-in-law, Moe Sherry; special niece, Zelda; special friends, Bonita Gallant and Dixie Doiron; numerous nieces and nephews; and his two faithful boys (dogs), Gypsy and Gizmo.
Besides his wife, Patricia, he was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Annie (Pineau) Pineau; his son, Charlie; grandson, Josh; sisters, Dianne Sherry and Clara Buote; and brother, Dernie Pineau.
Resting at Central Queen's Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Friday, August 29, 2014, from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Stella Maris Cemetery. Due to severe allergies, please refrain from wearing scented products.
