LeBLANC, DONALD - 1949 – 2014 - Donald LeBlanc, 65, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Saturday, August 30th, 2014. He was married to Cécile (Cormier) LeBlanc. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Adelard LeBlanc and Doris (Saulnier) LeBlanc of Bouctouche. Donald will be sadly missed by his wife Cécile and his mother Doris, and his five children; Carole Cormier (Paul), Bobby (Sylvie), Jean (Sylvie) and Claude (Noella) all of Bouctouche and Joanne Gallant (Claude) of Moncton, and nine grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn one sister Yvette Caron (André) of Dieppe, three brothers; Bernard (Carmella) of Saint-Antoine, Aubrey (Jeannette) of Bouctouche, Jean-Claude (Marie) of Saint-Joseph de Kent and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by one granddaughter, Josée (2002).
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Tuesday, September 2nd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Wednesday from 2 to 4pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Wednesday, September 3rd at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery. In Donald’s memory donations may be made to the CHUDUMONT Foundation «oncology». Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche. www.mailletfuneralhome.ca
