Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Thursday, September 11, 2014, James A. Davis of Carbonear, age 79 years. A loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and was cherished by all who knew him. Predeceased by parents: George and Isabel, sister: Mary (Jack) Pike, brother: Karl (Betty). Leaving to mourn, his two devoted daughters: Beverly Davis, Foxtrap and Gail Davis, Kelligrews; five grandchildren: Tracey (Sean), Jennifer, Paul (Laura), Amanda (Chris) and Erica; three great-grandchildren: Brandon, Ryan and Noah; also a large number of other relatives and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Sutton, Dr. Fraser and staff of Kelligrews Medical Clinic and also to the doctors and nurses at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital.
