Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, September 16th, 2014, in the presence of his loving family, Irvine Dawe, age 85 years. Predeceased by his father Roy Dawe; mother Rebecca Dawe (nee Batten); first wife Ruby; second wife Isabel; grandson Joshua Blackwood; and his infant brother Wade Dawe. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Maxine Blackwood (Dwight), and Jeanette Dyke (John); four stepsons: Keith Wilson (Elaine), Lloyd Wilson (Laurie), Wayne Wilson and Melvin Wilson (Anne Marie); also leaving to mourn, four grandchildren: Tara, Tennille, Courtney and Christopher; six great-grandchildren: Jordan, Jake, Max, Lexi, Denver and Kylie; sister Eileen Akerman (Cecil); brothers: Wendell Dawe (Beth), Roy Dawe (Rosalind), Ross Dawe (Betty); and sister-in-law Shirley Brown; as well as extended family and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Wednesday, September 17th, and Thursday, September 18th, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held from Wesley United Church on Friday, September 19th, 2014, at 2:00pm, with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
