Angela Mary Butler (nee Gladney)

Date de décès : 21 novembre 2014

53, of Portugal Cove-St. Phillips, passed peacefully on November 21, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She is predeceased by her parents, Francis and Rita Gladney and Brothers, Martin and Michael. On December 10, 1983 she married the one true love of her life and best friend, Ron Butler. Together as true partners they raised a family and their business to support themselves and their kids. If hard work is its own reward then they should be the richest people on earth as together they took on all struggles in order to provide a good life for their family. Angela was a compassionate, hardworking, dedicated loving, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend, a loving and unselfish soul that gave everything and expected nothing in return. It is appropriate and should not go unnoticed that the word Angel is in her name, for she truly was an Angel to many. Perhaps the thing that gave Angela the most comfort and pride was her family which she worked so hard for and with everyday. Her husband, her kids and her 2 grandsons were her pride and joy. Left with many fond and loving memories are her husband of 31 years, Ron Butler, her 2 children, Trista (Eddie), Kenny (Courtney), her 2 grandsons, Nathan and Lincoln, sisters Maureen Rose (John), Leona Rosa Bian (Paul), Carolanne Kennedy, Marie Gladney (Tom), Catherine Gladney (Wilson), Elizabeth Gladney and Brother Phillip Gladney, her life long best friend Angela; special friend Marion Churchill; special niece Rita Neary, as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place and visitation will be at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Monday, November 24th from 10:00 am - 9:00 pm. Funeral Mass to be held at Holy Rosary Parish in Portugal Cove on Tuesday, November 25th at 2 pm with inurnment to follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Janeway.

A wife, a mother, a grandma too,
This is the legacy we have from you.
You taught us love and how to fight,
You gave us strength, you gave us might. A stronger person would be hard to find, And in your heart, you were always kind. You fought for us all in one way or another, Not just as a wife not just as a mother. For all of us you gave your best, Now the time has come for you to rest. So go in peace, you've earned your sleep, Your love in our hearts, we'll eternally keep.
