It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing at the Health Sciences Complex on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, of Pamela Susan Butt (nee Green), age 59 years. Leaving to mourn her loving husband, Arch; mother, Rosemary Green; brothers: David & Jon; sisters: Judy Saucier (Michael) & Sherry. Predeceased by her father, Frazer and brother, Robin. Lovingly remembered by her step-children: Lindsay Thurston (Chris) & Matthew (Jennifer); 7 grandchildren & 1 great-granddaughter; also special parents-in-law, Arch and Ruby Butt; brothers-in-law: John (Dorothy), Jim (Dolly); sister-in-law: Betty (Doug Seaward); special Aunt Frances Blundon; special friends: Karen Byrne, Ann Marie, Paul Perchard, Darlene Lewis & the Club Girls, as well as a large circle of extended family and friends - not forgetting her loving dog, Nemo. She was a 30 year employee of Sobeys, working in all the St. John's stores and Mount Peal. She retired in 2009 from Howley Estates due to ill health. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Saturday, December 20, from 12noon-9pm, and on Sunday, December 21, from 10am-9pm. Funeral service will be held from the Salvation Army Temple, Torbay Road on Monday, December 22, 2014, at 2:00pm, with cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or, donations in Pam's memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of one's choice.
