Passed peacefully away at St. Clares Mercy Hospital on January 24, 2015 Mr. Charlie Gale age 75 years of Placentia. Predeceased by mother and father John & Violet Gale, brothers Tom, John Sheila, deceased), & Leo, sisters Nellie (Kevin Dutton, deceased), Theresa (Leonard Greene, deceased) & Eileen (Mike English, deceased), and deceased members of the Mooney family. He leaves to mourn his loving and devoted wife of 48 years Mary, sons Randy (Janice) & Stephen (Heather), daughter Lisa McGrath (Brian), his pride and joy grandson Blair, sisters Mary Fewer (Jerry, deceased), Chapels Cove & Anna Mahon (Ray), Indiana, sisters in law Theresa Gale, Aggie Foley & Tish Collins (Ray), best friend Austin Roche, his good buddy and nephew Wayne "Mooney', as well as many other nieces and nephews and other relatives including members of the Mooney family, and other friends with special mention of the Dialysis Nurses at St. Clares, they were his special angels. Visitation will take place at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Monday & Tuesday from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00, with funeral Mass to take place on Wednesday January 28, 2015 at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Inurement to take place at Coombs Memorial Cemetery at a time to be given later. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Dialysis Unit at St. Clares Mercy Hospital.
