Valerie May Andrews
1926 - 2015


Valerie passed away peacefully at Providence Place on April 16, 2015 at the age of 88. Recently predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years, Ron, son Neil and by her sister Olive Freeman (nee Greenhalgh) of Sussex England. Val and Ron immigrated to Canada from Liverpool, England in 1951 and settled in Moose Jaw, where Val worked for many years as head of the bacteriology lab at Providence Hospital. Val and Ron were active members of The Anglican Church, Nature Moose Jaw, and Friends of Wakamow Valley. Val will be lovingly remembered by her 4 children, Carol, Tim, Jeff, and Jill, as well as by her 13 grandchildren in Alberta and BC. Funeral service and interment of ashes date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations in Val's memory can be made to the Wakamow Valley Authority, PO Box 1266, Moose Jaw, SK, or a charity of your choice.
