The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, April 24, 2015, of Blanche LaVoie, of Wilmot Valley, aged 86 years. Born in St. Eleanors, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Belle (Mellish) Murray. Survived by her husband Robert LaVoie; a sister Olive Mellish; special friends Marlene (Stanley) and Heather (Barry); and by a large extended family. Predeceased by a brother Chester Murray. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, then to Central Street Christian Church where funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Monday from 6-8 p.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Canoe Cove Christian Camp would be appreciated.
