Edward Patrick (Paddy)
Passed away at home, as he so desired, on June 29, 2015, Edward Patrick Hartson (Paddy) age 63, of Jerseyside Placentia. Predeceased by parents Pat & Ruby Hartson, young siblings Johnny and Madonna, sisters Phyllis Becker and Barbara Hartson, as well as his loving companion Marie O'Brien. Left with fond and loving memories, his pride and joy, his daughters Amy (Todd) Sooley and Leanne (Keith) Hiscock, and precious grandchildren Carter, Jayden, Nora and Brandon, all of Bonnyville, AB. Also leaving to mourn, his dear brother Alex (Gertie) Southeast, Placentia, and 8 precious sisters, Theresa Collins Southeast, Placentia, Margie (Vern) Pitcher, Dunville, NL, Annie (Herb) Dalton, Westfield, MA, Debbie (Matt) Rowland, Milton, FL, Alice (Chuck), Placentia, Cindy (Leo) Hickey, Mount Pearl, NL, Stella (Pat) Perham, Mount Pearl, Betty (Gerard) Whittle, Bonds Path. As well as Marie's family, especially her special daughter & caregiver Melissa King, son David King and her grandchildren. And his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Manget and staff at Placentia Health Centre as well as those that provided care for Paddy so he could be at home. Resting at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation on Tuesday from 7pm to 9pm, Wednesday from 2pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm, and Thursday at 12pm. Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 2pm. Interment to follow at Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery, Southeast Placentia. Donations in memory of Paddy can be made to Sacred Heart Parish Restoration fund.
