Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and friends, Catherine Isabelle Sanderson (nee MacLaren) passed away on July 29, 2015 at the Colville Manor in Souris. Wife of the late Douglas Sanderson, aged 96 years.
Survived by sons Bill (Patsy) Sanderson, Maurice (Thelma) Sanderson, Wendell (Sheila) Sanderson, and brother Kenneth MacLaren. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Kim (Bill) Storey, Roddie (Lisa, fiancé) Sanderson, Leanne (Mark) Pound, Russ (Patty) Sanderson, Billi-Jo (Kent) Turpin, Matt Sanderson, Jason Sanderson, Justin Sanderson, Cindy (Brennan) Conway, daughter in law Imelda MacAulay, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and several great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by sons Millar (1969) and Blair (1970) Sanderson, beloved sister Margaret MacSwain, brothers Gordon, Boyd, and William MacLaren, as well as parents Russell and Etta MacLaren of Cable Head West.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Friday evening, July 31, 2015 from 6-9 p.m.
Funeral to be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at the funeral home chapel with funeral service to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment in Marie Cemetery.
