Donald Gilbert Bell

Donald Gilbert Bell, late of Prince Albert, SK, passed away on October 8, 2015 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 90 years. “Gib” was born February 11, 1925 to parents Thomas and Margaret Bell. He was educated in the Wiggins School District near Herschel, SK. Gib farmed in the Herschel area where he met and married Ida Clark. Gilbert retired from farming and lived in Fort Quappelle, SK, Rock Creek, BC, and Cranbrook, BC before moving to Prince Albert, SK. Gib loved gardening, especially gladiolus which he loved to share with friends and neighbours, as well as refinishing old furniture. Gib was predeceased by his parents, his two brothers: Tom (Lillian) and George (June); and his beloved wife Ida. He is survived by his 3 children: Cheryl (George), Ron (Cindy) and Duane (Marlene), his 2 granddaughters: Jennifer and Louann; his 2 great-grandchildren: Karissa and Braden.
