The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, of June Oliver, of Summerside, aged 95 years. Born in Summerside, she was the daughter of the late James and Empress (MacNeill) Gordon. Survived by her children James (Sandy) Oliver, Lorraine Oliver, Lowell (Nancy) Oliver, Kay (Ronald) Thompson; by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; by a sister Shirley Sanders; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Hanson Oliver; infant son Thane; sisters Lois Skerry and Rubzell Smith; and by brothers Owen and Donald Gordon. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Thursday, then to the Summerside Church of the Nazarene, for funeral service at 10 a.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the P.E.I. Humane Society would be appreciated.
