BUCKLEY, BARBARA JOAN (WORDEN)
With heavy hearts, the family of Barbara (Worden) Buckley announces her passing, which occurred on Thursday, November 26th, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, with family by her side. Barbara was born in Saint John on October 20th, 1933, a daughter of the late William and Dorothea (Marshall) Worden.
Barbara loved life and her faith was so very important to her. She had a wonderful, deep and meaningful relationship with her God, Jehovah and truly enjoyed witnessing to others. She was a kind hearted soul who loved her children dearly. Even though Barb was born here in Saint John, a large part of her heart and identity belonged in Toronto. She spent more than half of her life in Ontario, only returning to Saint John due to her failing health. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Barb is survived by her five children, 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and five siblings with one sister predeceasing her.
Family and friends welcome at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Saturday from 9 to 11 am followed immediately by the burial in Fernhill Cemetery.
