The death occurred at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Saturday, April 30, 2016, of Denzil Delaney, of Summerside, aged 89 years. Born in Tryon, he was the son of the late Parker and Minerva “Minnie” (MacNeill) Delaney. Survived by his wife Marion (Sampson) Delaney; a daughter Marlene (George) Bulger; son Preston Delaney, and his special companion Areba. Predeceased by brothers and sisters Golding, Novella Clough, Myra Delaney, Helena "Lena" Trowsdale, Joe, Velda Carr, Margaret Delaney, Doris Slavin, Merle, Wyman, Heath, Hazen, Leroy, Beverly and Blair. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. A private family service will be held. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. No visiting hours by request. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
