Graham Gerald Krauss
May 13, 1985- December 24, 2015
Graham Gerald Krauss passed away December 24, 2015 at the age of 30 years. He was born, the second child of three, to Dwight and Gisele Krauss in St. Paul, AB. When he was a year old, his family moved to Prince Albert, SK where he was to reside for the remainder of his life.
Graham had a passion for the sports of hockey, baseball and snowboarding and dabbled in golf, soccer and BMX cycling. From the time he could walk, his hands were filled with sticks, pucks, bats, balls and gloves. He learned to ski before he was four and enjoyed his many snowboarding trips to the local hills and Rocky Mountains. As a youngster and throughout his life Graham enjoyed fishing and wilderness camping.
Graham began working for the City of Prince Albert in May 2012. It was the job he had always wanted and it showed. He was always smiling, even when it rained.
Graham was diagnosed with cancer in May 2011 at the age of 26. He won that battle and was declared cured in June 2015. These treatments left Graham fearing that having a family of his own would not be possible. He was never happier than when he discovered his fiancé, Brittinea, was pregnant. He was ecstatic when his son Parker was born, as he now had that family he had always dreamed of.
Graham leaves to mourn his fiancé Brittinea Campbell, son Parker Krauss, parents Dwight and Gisele Krauss, sisters Erika (Kari and Cody Quiring), Meghan (Ryan Bosinger) and Rachel (Morgan Arnelien), grandfather Rudy Krauss and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 27 at 1:00 pm at the Hazeldell Hall with the interment to follow at Memorial Gardens. All are welcome to go with the family to the Cemetery for the final farewell and then returning to the hall for a time of socializing. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to a charity of your choice.
