The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, June 23, 2016, of Donald Doucette, of Summerside, aged 87 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of the late Edmund and Celina (Perry) Doucette. Survived by his wife Anna (Arsenault) Doucette; children Roger (Carolyn) Doucette and Tracy (Doug) MacKay; grandchildren Jennifer Kennedy, Scott Doucette, Tyler MacKay and Brett MacKay; great-grandchildren Avary and Eli Doucette; by a brother Ernest (Jean) Doucette; sister Bea (Paul) LeClair and by a sister-in-law Helen “Dusty” Doucette. Predeceased by a son Robert, in infancy, and by brothers Robert Doucette and John (Jean) Doucette. Resting at Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Monday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Sunday from 2-5 p.m. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
