Passed away peacefully, with his loving family at his side on October 20, 2016 at the Scarborough General Hospital (formerly of Topsail, NL). Beloved husband of Beverley (nee Brechbill) for over 40 years. Devoted father of Derrick (Catherine)and Brent (Ana-Maria). Proud Grandfather of Nicole, Nathan and Dominic. Brother of Harold, Austin Jr. and Dianna. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Proud dog lover of Penny, Joey, Bandit and many other furry friends. Gord enjoyed spending time at the cottage and fishing with his family and friends. When not enjoying a good cup of coffee, he often could be found in his shed enjoying his tool collection and coming up with creative ways to be the perfect handyman. But don't let Gord fool you, with his witty sense of humour you might be the perfect target for one of his pranks.
