A bright light has gone out with the passing of Raven Ashlea Elizabeth Ward. Heaven was short another angel, on October 24, 2016, God called her home. She leaves behind her loving daughter Rachael Carey, loving partner Todd Mahon, mother Adena Ward, grandparents Florence Ward and Edwin Ward, sister Rain Farrington, brother Cullan Farrington, sister Holly Bélanger, sister Rene Meyer, uncle Rodney Ward, father John Meyer, grandparents Herb Meyer and Lily Meyer. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Special friends Andrea Holden, Linda Mahon, Scott and Terry Mahon and families. Special thanks to paramedics and nurses at the Health Science. Visitation will take place at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Friday, October 28 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Friday, October 28 at 2 p.m. Flowers gratefully accepted or memorial donations can be made to Mental Health Association of Newfoundland.
