KIRKPATRICK, WILLARD J. B. At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on December 7, 2003, Willard J.B. Kirkpatrick of Fredericton passed away in his 90th year. Born in Wirral, NB, he was the youngest son of the late Silas and Mary Jane (Hoyt) Kirkpatrick. Willard spent his working years lumbering, farming and was formerly the chief assessor for Queen's County retiring from the taxation department with the Province of New Brunswick. He was a strong supporter of his church, worked with Meals on Wheels and volunteered at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital for over 20 years. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Viola; one daughter Pauline Johnson (Bryan) of Ottawa, Ontario; one son Vincent Kirkpatrick (Marie) of Saint John, NB; six grandchildren Corinne Neave (Peter) of Brockville, Ontario, Sherry Lee (Tim) of Ottawa, Mark Johnson (April) of Wichita, Kansas, Troy Johnson of Toronto, Leah Kirkpatrick of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Michael Kirkpatrick of Saint John, NB; three great grandchildren Liam, Molly and Sean Neave; one sister Elda March of Sussex Corner, NB; sister-in-law Ella Kirkpatrick of Hoyt, NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents; three brothers Dr. Lester Kirkpatrick (Margaret), Hazen Kirkpatrick (Margaret), Percy Kirkpatrick; three sisters Annie Machum (Harry), Gladys Kirkpatrick, Florence Kirkpatrick (Allison). Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road where visitation will be held Tuesday from 3:30 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Congregational Church of Fredericton, 870 Grandame Avenue, just off Montgomery Street with Rev.
