BARTON, MALCOLM The death of Malcolm Barton of Minto, NB, occurred Sunday, February 01, 2004 at the Queen's North Health Complex. Born at Hardwood Ridge, NB, he was the son of the late Myles and Beatrice (Demmons) Barton. Survived by sons, Kenneth Barton (Sheila) and Steven Barton (Shelly), two grandsons, Scott and Kyle, three granddaughters, Jennifer, Kimberly and Courtney all of Minto; a brother Hanford Barton of Winnipeg; two sister-in-laws, Adeline Anderson and Elsie Cass (Donald) both of Saint John; a brotherin-law, Joe Dasset of Minto and several nieces and nephews. Malcolm was predeceased by his wife, Jacqueline (Bishop) Barton in May of 2003 and a sister Marion Dasset. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home, 327-3490 where the family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and from where funeral service will take place 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 4, 2004 from the Parker Memorial Chapel with Mary Thurrott officiating. Interment will take place in the Wallbridge Cemetery at a later date.
